Goal:

To mobilize lay pastors and literacy teachers throughout the Narok Distict. To hold three crusades and win souls to Jesus.

Bio:

All my life I never really had a solid faith. I would go to the church my parents went to until I crossed over from being a child into manhood. I began to search for more in my life. I began going from church to church trying to find what I needed. In the year 1990 I heard the Adventist’s message for the first time. A Maasai woman at one of the camps told me of the love of Jesus and how the Bible says “If you love me, keep my commandments.” I took to heart what she had told me. The following Sabbath the woman invited me to the SDA Church. I went and they welcomed me with such warmth and sincerity. The next Sabbath I gave my life to Christ and I am so thankful.

Four years later, I married my wife, Evaline Nanka. During this time we faced many temptations and hardships. I became sick and my wife delivered a child that died at birth. Many from our family told us that we were being destroyed by the evil spirit and that we should see a witchdoctor, but we no longer believed in that so we did not follow their advice. God helped us through all of it. (We now have 5 daughters)

God led me to start three Sabbath Schools and because of His direction 76 people were baptized. I was transferred from Ilparakuo to Siana Mara Division in the Narok District One night during our evangelistic meetings we were threatened by lions, but that didn’t stop us. We knew God was in control and that He would protect us. He always takes care of us!

Pray for the Maasai community within Narok district to accept Jesus. Especially Puruko community
