I work in Empopongi

I am from the Maasai tribe.

Education:

High School

Goal:

Build a church to worship in, baptize 30 people, and hold a two week evangelistic series

Bio:

I was a Christian and worked hard in my two churches. While I was in charge of these two churches, I met a girl whose mother was of a different denomination. A few of the members and I decided to meet with this woman on a regular basis and talk about the word. To our surprise she started teaching us about her religion which was Seventh Day Adventism. It began to change my life and I re-studied the Bible. It was then that my life changed and that is how I was introduced into the SDA Church. I believe that during this time I really grew in my new faith. I moved back to my home area in 1998 and began taking part in various spiritual activities such as Bible studies and visitation. I got a lot of spiritual nourishment and was t baptized in the river on July 15, 2000. I have been working with MDP since March 30, 2006. God has blessed us with a small group that meets every Sabbath, an adult literacy class and we have been able to have a evangelistic series already. I have eight students in my literacy class and seven are coming to church services on Sabbath. We have just been given land and so are hoping to raise the money to build a church on the property.
